Wi-fi is available in the entire house free of charge.

Tea & Coffee Making etc
Tea & coffee making facilities are available in each bedroom and there is a fridge available in the dining room for guests use.

Like many houses in the old quarter of town, Les fleurons does not have it’s own private parking, but there is free parking just outside the house in Rue de la Concorde, which is a quiet residential street, with very little traffic. Alternatively, on the other side of the house next to the river you will find a free municipal car park where there are usually plenty of spaces available.

Trains & Car Hire

If you need any advice with planning your travel within France we will be glad to help out and point you in the right direction. It’s worth noting for example that many of our guests find it easier to travel to the Loire Valley by train and hire a car at St Pierre des Corps, than take the nail-biting alternative of navigating your way around Paris by car! There is also a direct Paris-Amboise train should you decide that a car is not necessary for your visit.

Pets are not accepted. If you are an allergy sufferer please note that we do have our own cats at the Les Fleurons and although they are not allowed near the bedrooms they occasionally have access to the living rooms.

Loire by Bike

Amboise offers the perfect 2-day stopover if you are following the Loire à Vélo route. Being just strolling distance from the town centre many of our cycling guests choose to abandon their bikes for the day and explore on foot. There is plenty to see with the Royal Château, the Clos Lucé and many small shops & restaurants. Alternatively, Château de Chenonceau is just 16km away and is therefore an easy loop by bike for a day trip.

At Les Fleurons we try to give you as much insight as possible into the Loire Valley and France in general before & during your trip, to be sure that you are well prepared and make the most of your visit. This is all part of our service and is aimed at making your stay here a great experience. So let us know if we can be of any help planning the trip – we can give you plenty of ideas for visiting châteaux, vineyards, restaurants, bike hire etc.

Here are directions as you approach Amboise from the direction of the autoroute A10 junction 18.

When you approach Amboise on the D31 continue over the River (Pont Michel Debré) and take the exit to the right just as you finish crossing the bridge. Follow the road down to a T-junction and turn left towards the town. Carry on along this road until you start to arrive in town (just short of the arched bridge) and you can then either turn left into rue Louis Xii (just before the Lion d’Or) or take the next left into the centre of town rue François 1er. Either way, rue de la Concorde will be first left after about 50yds. Turn left and we are halfway along on the left opposite the Minimes tower of the castle.
